Coaxial Lightning Protector (also known as a Coaxial Surge Protector or Coaxial SPD) is a specialized overvoltage protection device designed to safeguard RF equipment, broadcasting systems, antennas, and video transmission systems. Installed directly in the coaxial cable line, it rapidly diverts overvoltage to the grounding system whenever lightning or induced surges travel along the signal line, thereby preventing downstream equipment from being damaged or disrupted.
