The RP TNC connector features a frequency range of up to 4 GHz and includes PTFE insulation and gold-plated copper contacts to achieve maximum repeat efficiency and excellent wear resistance. The RP TNC connector plug has a threaded screw connection, which provides a secure fit and prevents vibration and electromagnetic interference. Although it is designed similarly to the BNC connector type, the TNC coaxial connector is typically used in applications operating in vibration-prone areas, where the BNC bayonet connection is not suitable. The TNC coaxial connector offers higher performance levels when used with microwave frequencies and is commonly used in portable radios, radar systems, broadcast, and mobile phone antennas.
